The corporate greenwashing and the crypto currency

As the 40 world leaders gather in the US for leaders summit on climate change ,obviously the main request during the summit is to reduce sharply the global greenhouse gas emissions.

And one of the main proposals should be around the renewable sources of energy etc, despite the fact that it all sounds great we are spending more electricity mining BTC and other crypto, than is produced by all world’s solar panels combined.

BTC produces alone a whopping 37 MN tons of carbon dioxide annually,and for people working in asset management or private equity firms.

Now it is not strange or odd to see them competing to grab people with the right green expertise,as  corporate greenwashing became a real thing now as many big firms intend to provide fake reports to show their commitments toward the environmental   and social governance.
