لم تعد الأزمة السياسية في ليبيا مجرد خلاف حول تشكيل الحكومات أو توزيع السلطة، بل أصبحت اختبارًا حقيقيًا لقدرة الليبيين على الانتقال من إدارة الأزمات المتتالية إلى بناء الدولة ذات السيادة ،فبعد سنوات من الانقسام السياسي والمؤسسي، بات واضحًا أن استمرار الوضع الراهن يستهلك مقدرات الوطن ويؤجل تطلعات المواطنين في الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية.
اتضح وبالتجربة أن الحلول المؤقتة، مهما حققت من تهدئة، لا يمكن أن تكون بديلًا عن مشروع وطني شامل يعالج جذور الأزمة. كما أثبتت أن أي مسار سياسي لا يقوم على التوافق والحوارواحترام إرادة الشعب سيظل معرضًا للتعثر، لأن الشرعية المستدامة لا تُبنى إلا من خلال مؤسسات منتخبة وقادرة على أداء مهامها بكفاءة واستقلالية القانون .
وفي المقابل، لا يمكن إغفال تأثير البيئة الإقليمية والدولية في المشهد الليبي، إلا أن العامل الحاسم يظل الإرادة الوطنية القوية ،فكلما امتلك الليبيون زمام المبادرة، ونجحوا في تغليب المصلحة العامة على المصالح الضيقة، ازدادت فرص الوصول إلى تسوية مستقرة تحفظ وحدة البلاد وسيادتها.
حيث ان المرحلة المقبلة تتطلب رؤية وطنية تقوم على عدة مرتكزات؛ أولها الاتفاق على إطار دستوري واضح يفتح الطريق أمام انتخابات رئاسية وبرلمانية تتمتع بالنزاهة والشفافية، بما ينهي الجدل حول الشرعية ويؤسس لمؤسسات مستقرة. ايضا توحيد مؤسسات الدولة، باعتبارها الضامن لاستمرار الخدمات العامة وترسيخ سيادة القانون. أما ثالثا فيتمثل في إطلاق مشروع وحوار وطني شامل يدعو للمصالحة و يعالج آثار الانقسام ويعزز الثقة بين مختلف مكونات المجتمع قائما على العدالة الانتقالية .
كما أن الترشيد والإصلاح الاقتصادي يمثل ركيزة لا تقل أهمية عن الإصلاح السياسي، إذ ينبغي توجيه الموارد الوطنية نحو التنمية، وتحسين الخدمات، وخلق فرص العمل، وتحقيق توزيع عادل للمشروعات والاستثمارات بين مختلف المناطق، بما يعزز الشعور بالمواطنة ويحد من أسباب الاحتقان.
وفي هذا السياق، يتحمل الإعلام الليبي مسؤولية تاريخية في دعم الاستقرار. فالإعلام المهني لا يقتصر دوره على نقل الأحداث، بل يسهم في تشكيل الوعي العام والتأثير به وتغيير اتجاهاته السلبية وترسيخ قيم الحوار، ومواجهة خطاب الكراهية والتضليل، وتعزيز ثقافة المشاركة الوطنية. ومن هنا، فإن بناء خطاب إعلامي مسؤول أصبح ضرورة وطنية توازي أهمية الإصلاحات السياسية والاقتصادية.
إن مستقبل ليبيا لن تصنعه الانقسامات، ولا الرهان على الحلول المؤقتة، وإنما تصنعه الإرادة القوية الوطنية، والمؤسسات المتمكنة والقيادة الرشيدة، وثقة المواطن في دولته. فالسلام الحقيقي لا يعني غياب الصراع او الاقتتال فحسب، بل يعني وجود دولة عادلة قادرة على حماية الحقوق، وإنفاذ القانون، وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
ولعل الرسالة الأهم اليوم هي أن ليبيا تمتلك كل مقومات النهوض، لكنها تحتاج إلى قرار وطني شجاع ينقلها من مرحلة إدارة الأزمة إلى مرحلة صناعة المستقبل. فالتاريخ لا يخلّد إلا دعاة السلام …
Libya at a Crossroads: From Managing Crisis to Building a Sovereign State

Libya’s political crisis is no longer merely a dispute over government formation or the distribution of power. It has become a genuine test of the Libyan people’s ability to move beyond the cycle of crisis management and toward the construction of a sovereign state. After years of political and institutional division, it is increasingly evident that maintaining the status quo continues to drain the country’s resources and delay citizens’ aspirations for security, stability, and development.
Experience has shown that temporary solutions, regardless of their ability to ease tensions, cannot substitute for a comprehensive national project that addresses the root causes of the crisis. It has also demonstrated that any political process lacking consensus, dialogue, and respect for the will of the people will remain vulnerable to failure.
Sustainable legitimacy can only be established through elected institutions capable of performing their duties efficiently, independently, and under the rule of law.
At the same time, while the influence of regional and international actors on Libya’s political landscape cannot be ignored, the decisive factor remains a strong national will. The more Libyans take ownership of their future and place the national interest above narrow political calculations, the greater the prospects for achieving a stable settlement that preserves the country’s unity and sovereignty.
The next phase requires a clear national vision built on several key pillars. First, reaching agreement on a constitutional framework that paves the way for transparent and credible presidential and parliamentary elections, ending disputes over legitimacy and laying the foundation for stable institutions. Second, unifying state institutions, which remain essential for ensuring the continuity of public services and strengthening the rule of law. Third, launching a comprehensive national dialogue and reconciliation process to address the consequences of division, rebuild trust among different segments of society, and advance a framework based on transitional justice.
Economic reform and prudent resource management are equally vital. National resources must be directed toward development, improving public services, creating employment opportunities, and ensuring a fair distribution of investments and development projects across all regions. Such measures would strengthen citizens’ sense of belonging and help reduce the underlying causes of social and political tensions.
In this context, the Libyan media bears a historic responsibility in supporting stability. Professional journalism is not limited to reporting events; it also plays a critical role in shaping public awareness, challenging negative narratives, promoting dialogue, countering hate speech and disinformation, and encouraging a culture of civic participation. Building a responsible media discourse has therefore become a national necessity, equal in importance to political and economic reform.
Libya’s future will not be shaped by division or by reliance on temporary arrangements. It will be built through strong national determination, capable institutions, responsible leadership, and citizens’ confidence in their state. Genuine peace is not merely the absence of conflict; it is the presence of a just state capable of protecting rights, enforcing the law, and delivering sustainable development.
The most important message today is that Libya possesses all the necessary foundations for progress and renewal. What it needs is a courageous national decision capable of moving the country from a phase of crisis management to one of nation-building and future-making. History remembers those who choose the path of peace.
