استقبل سامح شكرى وزير الخارجية، اليوم الخميس، سفراء الاتحاد الأوروبى فى منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا ومسئولى ملفات الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا بجهاز الخدمة الخارجى للاتحاد الأوروبى، وذلك فى إطار تواجدهم بالقاهرة لعقد مؤتمرهم السنوى.
جاء اللقاء، فى إطار حرص الوزير على التشاور مع الشركاء الأوروبيين بشأن مختلف قضايا المنطقة واستعراض رؤية مصر تجاهها، بما فى ذلك شرح الجهود التى تقوم بها مصر من أجل تعزيز الاستقرار ودعم جهود تحقيق السلام وتسوية أزمات الشرق الأوسط، بالإضافة إلى شرح التطورات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التى تشهدها مصر.
أكد شكرى خلال اللقاء، على العلاقات التاريخية متعددة الأوجه التى تربط مصر بالاتحاد الأوروبى والتى تتشابك فى جميع مجالات التعاون.
كما تناول اللقاء، سبل دفع وتطوير أوجه العلاقات بين مصر والاتحاد الأوروبى فى مختلف المجالات، سواء من خلال الأطر الثنائية أو التنسيق والتعاون القائمين بين مصر والتجمعات الأوروبية المختلفة مثل الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط، ومؤسسة آنا ليند للحوار بين الثقافات، أو فى إطار المشاورات المنتظمة التى تجريها مصر مع التجمعات الأوروبية.
شهد اللقاء، تبادل الرؤى والتقديرات حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية محل الاهتمام، وعلى رأسها الأزمة الأوكرانية الروسية وما تبعها من تغيرات جيوسياسية ونتج عنها من آثار اقتصادية أثرت بشكل كبير على دول وشعوب المنطقة، بالإضافة إلى الأوضاع فى الأراضى الفلسطينية المحتلة على خلفية التصعيد الأخير، والأوضاع فى ليبيا وسبل مواجهة خطر الهجرة غير الشرعية عبر البحر المتوسط، وكذلك المتغيرات السياسية التى شهدتها المنطقة فى الآونة الأخيرة.
وحرص شكرى، على استعراض رؤى وركائز الموقف المصرى إزاء مختلف هذه القضايا، بالإضافة إلى تطورات ملف سد النهضة وثوابت الموقف المصرى إزاءه.
